album:
super chaotic noise rock from connecticut. features sounds i cannot explain the origins of, even with the instrument credits in the liner notes. kinda reminds me of Black Eyes in a way. wanna see this band one day so i can figure out what on earth they’re doing.
book:
got into manga and graphic novels within the last few months. this one might be my favorite i’ve read so far. doesn’t stick to any one idea for too long, which is nice. i like anthologies as a means of telling stories. lots of little stories as opposed to one grand journey. that explains a lot about me actually.
game:
remake of a squaresoft rpg on the super famicom. checked it out from my local library (same one i read flayed corpse at, actually) and it was amazing. every chapter takes a different spin on the traditional turn based rpg formula without ever resorting to ATB. accidentally played the chapters in the exact order they appear on the back of the game case.
ok i guess this is something. tune in next time? something like that.
